FIAT Nationals
The FIAT NATIONALS is an annual get-together of Fiat enthusiasts from all over Australia and New Zealand for the purpose of competition and socializing.
The competition consists of a Lap Dash or Hillclimb at a recognized racetrack facility and cars compete in engine capacity classes as well as vying for the Fastest Outright trophy.
A quite different competitive event is the Fiat of Italy Cup Motorkhana, an event that has been held annually since 1964. Competition used to be held on a grassed surface but is now held on bitumen.
A more laid-back competitive event is the Show'n'Shine, where some of Australia's best Fiats and Abarth's and other Fiat Group cars will be on display. Again, trophies are awarded in different classes.
The Fiat Nationals is currently organized on a yearly rotating basis by the New South Wales, Victorian and Queensland Fiat Clubs at suitable venues within each club's home state.
